NECK RE-FRET SERVICE:
Due to the predictability
and consistency of re-fretting Moses Carbon Graphite fingerboards, Moses
as of 01-01-08 now offers high quality and affordable re-frets on all
Moses neck models, including Steinbergers. Cost is $185 plus shipping.
Typical domestic 2 to 3 day (in-transit) return shipping charge is $9.75
to $12.95 (dependent on model).
A maximum turnaround
time of 5 business days is guaranteed. We request that the client provide
confirmation of shipping to Moses by phone, FAX or E-mail prior to forwarding
necks to our Eugene, Oregon facility address.
FYI: Without
regard to other pros and cons for its overall usage, Phenolic fingerboards
are in large part difficult to re-fret due to the tendency of the fret
tangs to tear-out and splinter parts of these fingerboards. This objection
is a major reason for the seemingly high cost of re-fretting.
